Chapter 6 and Naturally 7

Two of the most exciting acapella ensembles in the world today come together on the Renaissance stage for one incredible evening of unaccompanied vocal music! Whether you love beat boxing or pure, uninhibited male harmonies, you’ll LOVE this performance!

Chapter 6 is a professional, a cappella ensemble from Illinois: Comprised of six vocalists and one arranger, Chapter 6 is the only vocal ensemble to win both the International Competition of Collegiate A Cappella (2001) and the National Harmony Sweepstakes (2004). Among subsequent honors, Chapter 6 has appeared with the National Symphony Orchestra at The Kennedy Center and received the A Cappella Community Award (2006) for “Favorite Jazz Group.”

As for Naturally 7, they may have found a new way to make music, but they were never compelled to make up the music themselves. All seven have their preferences, styles, favorite songs--and they can interpret them all. Naturally 7 summon up soul, rap, rock and folk from their throats in harmonious balance; their repertoire consists half of their own compositions, half of cover versions. The seven vocal giants have found a wonderful way to exploit the variety of their styles!
