The Mansfield Symphony welcomes special guest Al Sur, a music and dance ensemble specializing in the performance of original and traditional Spanish Flamenco art forms and considered to be some of the finest performers in the United States. Combined with some of the greatest Latin flavored classical music ever written, Bolero and Three Cornered Hat, Al Sur performs original compositions which feature timbre colors ranging from expressive, exotic vocals and traditional dance footwork to frenetic guitar, throbbing percussion, and plaintive tones of the bowed contrabass. A performance unlike anything the Mansfield Symphony has ever offered!
